We want to introduce you to one of our team members today.
Meet Jaryd, our Business Intelligence Manager! Jaryd has a strong background in logistics, warehousing, and information services. He also studied networking, applications and EDI analytics. He was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, but moved to Vancouver In January of 2019.
We asked Him a few questions to help you get to know him better:
How did you find your position at Radius Logistics?

Tell us a bit more about what you do here!
My role here at Radius includes continually improving business processes through digital transformation, ensuring the safety of our network to protect against privacy breaches and cyber attacks, and improve productivity through EDI project builds.
What is your favourite thing about working at Radius?
The people, we have an amazing team here at Radius Logistics!
Who do you to look up to most, and why?
My mom, as she is probably the strongest, kindest person I know. Always pushing me to do better and teaching me never to settle for anything but the best.
What is your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement is the hard work and perseverance I put into my studies, as that has got me to where I am today. I am also very proud to say I have lived on 3 different continents!
What are some words of wisdom you would give to your younger self?
Live life to the fullest and enjoy the small things, #YOLO!
What types of hobbies or interests do you pursue after work?
I enjoy brewing my own beer, making my own Biltong (similar to beef jerky… but very different!), fishing, hiking and playing sports (Hockey, Golf, Soccer, and the Gym).
What is one thing on your bucket list?
Seeing more of the world in general, I really enjoy travelling, Oh and being successful too!

My favourite emoji is the laughing emoji! 😂
